Alimentaria is one of the most popular shows in Europe for the gastronomic and food service sector, as well as Hostelco is for the hospitality sector. Both of them are organized by Alimentaria Exhibitions in Fira de Barcelona, all of them have counted more than 3.000 exhibitors and 200 activities about the HORECA sector in their latest edition.

Coordinating the digital communication of Alimentaria was a big challenge for the agency. The well known and recognized show about gastronomy and food industry in Barcelona let us coordinate the management of its social networks –both previous and during the coverage of the event–, selling the tickets, managing the paid media inversion and designing the images and creativities needed for the social media communication. The experience was a great success, as all the digital metrics showed us.



As part of the management for the A&H platform, Giny Comunicació also led the digital strategy of Hostelco –international and national show of hospitality and HORECA– during the previous days and during the celebration of the event in Fira de Barcelona. We created the graphic design related to the branding for its online communication, the team increased the customer’s retention and we communicated all the activities and news of the event. The Digital Marketing team also managed the ads campaign in order to sell the tickets for the show.
